Hello, hello! I hope everyone is KILLING it this week!!! I had a great birthday on Tuesday. One of my good girlfriends brought an amazing bundt cake to my desk at work from this company. They are soooo good. It was chocolate, chocolate chip flavored. Can I get an amen on all that chocolate?!? I actually bought one for my boyfriend last month for his birthday so they are pretty popular around these parts. Last Tuesday after work my boyfriend and I went to Hattie B’s for the first time for dinner. We met up with my girl Nicole from Chronicling Home and her husband to try out one of the most infamous fried chicken joints in Nashville!! If you haven’t heard of Hattie B’s, it is very popular in Nashville. I wasn’t disappointed. It was delicious. I had chicken tenders, pimento macaroni and cheese, and baked beans. The perfect birthday meal. Then we dug into the bundt cake together. It’s safe to say I ate plenty of calories to keep my metabolism working hard into my old age ha-ha. No joke though, this chicken place has a line out the door 24/7 so we were excited to try it out. They have two locations. I would consider it one of those “only in Nashville” places. I would recommend it if you are ever visiting town.
Lets talk about this dress! I have a weakness for anything pink. If something is a light pink or blush color I immediately swoon. So its no mystery that when I saw this one I had to have it. It looks so classic! Perfect for both work and a night out with the girls. I paired it with the really popular Stuart Weitzman style sandal except these particular ones are by BP (and a lot cheaper). I’m wearing one of my favorite Kendra Scott statement necklaces as well as my go-to Michael Kors watch. I love how simple and feminine this look is. I hope you like it! Stay tuned for “48 Hours in Asheville, NC” coming soon and keep it real until Friday folks! Have a good one!
