Hi gals! Hope you’ve all had a marvelous week! Today’s outfit is a classic look! I am wearing a taupe leather jacket from B.B. Dakota, black leggings from Anthropologie, a basic black cami (every girl has one of these!), Celine sunglasses (I borrowed these from my sister.) and my favorite Kendra Scott Naomi ring.  I got the ring from my boyfriend for Christmas and I love it! It has three beautiful drusy stones that are open on the front and connect in the back. To die for!!! I love this jacket because it is warm, comfy (it’s smooth on the inside) and styling!  I also got my Toms open toed heels for Christmas and I can’t wait to rock them all next year! I’m also wearing a top-knot (a very easy hairstyle trending right now). You should try it!

Hope all is well! I’m very sad that my week in Florida has come to an end. I just LOVE being with my family. Especially since I live so far away and they are my favorite people EVER. I adore them. Tomorrow I will be traveling back to Nashville for New Years! (My sis and her b/f too. Yay!!) It was a short week but I’ve had a wonderful time! Below I have a few pictures of some of our activities!

Here we go . . . .

One of the days I was in Florida my Dad and I went to the San Marco area near downtown Jacksonville (mostly to take my sister out to lunch because she works out that way).  Our first stop was a tree in Southbank I had never seen.  My Dad had seen it a few times growing up in Jax.  It’s a famous tree called the “Treaty Oak” and it’s  over 200 years old!!  I thought it was beautiful.  You can see it below!  Can you imagine all that this tree has survived over the last 200 years!?! Wears me out just thinking about it! (Ha-ha)

See how thick the tree trunk is!

Our next stop was lunch! One of my favorite restaurants of all time.  It’s called “The Loop“.  They have another location on Amelia Island very close to my parents home.  I grew up going there all the time and to this day every time I go (on Amelia Island) I run into at least two people I went to school or church with when I was a kid. I do like to see a familiar face once in a while!  Here is my Dad’s, sister’s and I’s meals.  They were delicious! A hometown favorite.

Our last stop for the day was a very popular neighborhood chocolate shop in Jacksonville called Peterbrooke Chocolatier.  Having Peterbrookes around the house for Christmas time is a family tradition!  My family’s favorite item is their chocolate covered popcorn.  It’s so good!
